Contributor tiers

Tiers describe career stage, not the quality of anyone's writing.

Student

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in nutrition, dietetics or food science.

Graduate

Holds a degree in nutrition, dietetics or food science, with less than 3 years of work in a nutrition role since their first nutrition degree.

Practising Professional

At least 3 years of work in a nutrition role since their first nutrition degree.

What counts as a nutrition role, and how tiers are confirmed, is set out in the Contributor Terms.

Pitch an article

A title and a 2–3 line summary is enough. You'll hear back within 5 days.

Email your pitch with your name, country, tier (Student, Graduate or Practising Professional), your nutrition roles with dates (if any), registration body and number (optional), the pillar it fits, a proposed title and a 2–3 line summary.
